At Hanoi Toronto School, we believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for student success. That’s why we are excited to launch the HTS Parent Association (HTSPA) — a new initiative to empower our parent community and build stronger connections within our school. What is the HTSPA? The HTS Parent Association is a parent-led group designed to: Strengthen communication between families and the school Provide a structured forum for parent feedback Support school events and initiatives Welcome and guide new families Foster a warm, inclusive, and collaborative HTS community Every parent or legal guardian of a current HTS student is automatically a member of the association. Whether you're attending meetings or helping out at events, your presence makes a difference. Executive Committee – Lead the Change! The HTSPA will be guided by an elected Executive Committee (5–7 members), including: Chair Vice Chair Secretary Treasurer Members-at-Large (e.g., Events Lead, New Family Liaison) Committee members will serve for one academic year, with elections held annually. This is a great way to get involved and shape the future of HTSPA. Meeting & Activities At least 3 General Parent Meetings per year Monthly Executive Committee meetings Head of School and school leaders will attend and advise Activities may include: Organizing cultural and social events Supporting school-wide communication Leading charitable initiatives aligned with HTS values Orienting new families to our community Note: The HTSPA is advisory and supportive in nature — it does not make staffing, curriculum, or policy decisions. Code of Conduct & Purpose HTSPA members and leaders are expected to: Act with integrity, respect, and kindness Collaborate constructively with others Maintain confidentiality Support HTS’s mission and values
