As part of the Fairmont International Schools U.S. Diploma requirements, students spend a four-week summer academic term at Fairmont Schools in the United States. During this immersive experience, students complete required coursework, including American Studies and English Language, while learning in an authentic American school environment. The summer term gives students the opportunity to apply their academic skills in a new cultural and educational setting, build confidence and independence, and experience everyday school life in the United States. Beyond the classroom, students engage with the local community and gain a broader understanding of American culture and perspectives.
